Order Status

How can I check the status of my order?

We will send frequent status updates as your authentic Moroccan rug comes to fruition.

If you have questions during this process, please email us at contact@triberugs.com and we will follow up with you within 72 hours.

Will I receive updates on my order?

Yes. We will send you status updates when:

- You place your order.
- Our expert artisans begin weaving your rug.
- Your rug is woven and ready to ship.
- Your order leaves Paris (after quality control) and is in transit to you.

How will I know when my order has shipped?

We will forward you a tracking number when your rug leaves Paris.

Shipping

How long will it take my rug to ship?

Each order is processed within 24 hours.

We will then submit the details to our team of artisans, who will weave your rug in seven to twelve weeks. (The process may take longer during certain times of the year, but we will keep you informed throughout.)

Once your rug is woven, please allow an additional week or two for delivery.

Can I get my rug sooner?

We’ll do our very best to be flexible. Please contact us at contact@triberugs.com if you’re in a hurry. (Keep in mind, however, that crafting an authentic Moroccan rug takes time.)

Where do you ship your rugs?

We ship our rugs internationally. That said, please contact us at contact@triberugs.com if you don’t see your country.

Will I be informed when my rug has shipped?

Yes. We will forward you a tracking number the moment your rug leaves Paris.

How will my rug be shipped?

Every order is shipped from Paris via UPS or Fedex international.

What if my rug is damaged during shipping?

We will do everything possible to protect your rug in transit. If for whatever reason something happens, please contact us at contact@triberugs.com and we will follow up with you as soon as we possibly can.

How long will delivery take when my order has shipped?

It should take three to six business days for your order to arrive at your door once it has shipped.

Do I need to be home to sign for my rug?

Someone will need to be home to sign for your new rug upon delivery.

Shipping Taxes and duties

For international orders, there may be additional taxes and duties to pay upon arrival of the shipment to your country. The rates we offer for shipping are exactly the same rates that we are charged by UPS.

Purchasing a rug

How can I see your rugs in person?

Our Showroom is located at 24 rue de l’Abbé Grégoire in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. Consider subscribing to our email list for more information on pop-ups and other events.

Will my rug look the way it does in the picture?

It will look similar but not identical to the rug pictured.

Every rug is woven by hand from pure wool, and as a result, there will be slight variations in the pattern and color. This, in our view, will only add to the charm and authenticity of your custom Moroccan rug.

How can I tell whether I’m ordering the correct size?

Please review our sizing guide or contact us before placing an order. We will gladly help you make the best possible sizing decision for your needs.

When will I be charged for my order?

You will be charged for your new rug at the time the order is placed.

Can I order a design I don’t see?

If you are envisioning a design you don’t see, please email us at contact@triberugs.com and we’ll connect with you shortly.

Cancellations & Returns

Can I cancel or make changes to my order?

After placing your order, you have 24h to cancel and receive a full refund.

Can I return my rug?

All purchases are final. Please double-check all your measurements, color, and design specifications before placing your order.

Quality & Authenticity

Where was my rug made? And with what materials?

Tribe Rugs are hand-woven in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Each piece is composed of 100% Middle Atlas wool.

Is my rug high-quality?

Yes. We partner with experienced  artisans who have been handcrafting top-quality, authentic rugs dating back generations.

What if my rug gets damaged?

Please follow the care instructions below to protect your new Moroccan rug.

If your custom piece incurs damage, please contact us at contact@triberugs.com and we will follow up with you as soon as we can.

Wash & Care

How long will my rug last?

With proper care and consistent cleaning, your rug will last a very long time. Most well-cared-for Moroccan rugs last decades.

The accumulation of dirt can damage the fibers, affecting the rug over time—so the most important thing is that you clean your rug consistently.

How often should I wash my Tribe Rug? And how can I keep it clean?

The traditional way to clean your rug is to shake it outside once a week.

If this isn’t an option for you, you may choose to vacuum your rug from side to side with the bar on a high setting. Relying on one if not both of these techniques on a regular basis is ideal.

Is your rug in need of spot-cleaning? Gently clean your custom piece with warm water and a small amount of natural detergent. Wood repels liquids upon contact, so quickly use a dry cloth afterward and then repeat the process.

We recommend having your rug professionally cleaned every two or three years to preserve the quality of the wool.
